Mamma Mia! Boston Theatre reviews
Great story--forgettable acting and singing
Wow, Mama Mia is one of the best plays I have ever seen on Broadway. I was saddened by the performance at the Orpheum.
The actress who played Donna seemed to be going through the motions, totally unfeeling. Sophie's voice was hard to hear and the actress overacted many of the scenes.
I hardly know where to start with the male roles but agree with some of the other reviewwers here. Never thought I would say Pierce Brosnan was not the worst. Oy.
What is particularly sad is that folks who have never seen this play sans this touring company have no idea just how good this show can be.
